Through the interdependence of the oceanic longevity deities

  of the three roots,

May the protector  who exemplifies monasticism, learning,

  and goodness –

Great abbot, Pema Sherab, may your life be firm,

And your wishes for both the teachings and beings, spontaneously accomplished!

So with the thought “If I don’t achieve calm abiding, there is no way to achieve the path,” generate faith that sees the benefits of calm abiding. That faith induces an aspiration that strives to produce calm abiding. On that basis, one generates enthusiasm. On the basis of generating enthusiasm, one achieves the pliancy in which the body and mind can be utilized for virtue however one wishes. These four — faith, aspiration, enthusiasm, and pliancy — are the antidotes to laziness.

Kyabje Thubten Palzang Rinpoche (“Tulku Thubzang Rinpoche”), was born in the year of the Fire Rat (1936). He was discovered by the great Khenpo Ngaga Rinpoche, the same Khenchen who confirmed the recognition of our late Holiness, Drubwang Pema Norbu Rinpoche. He entered his final meditation (Thugdam) on 10 January, 2021 and passed into parinirvana.

5. In any case, you must be unmistaken when contemplating that all phenomena are emptiness.

 The dream you had last night was so short; from beginning to end, it was over so quickly. In a dream you might feel as if you have been on a long journey or spent many years doing something, but actually, a dream is just a few minutes in duration. Whatever good things happen in a dream are also over quickly. This is one reason why Padmasambhava likens life to a dream—they both finish so quickly. Life is over so soon, like a dream.

Palden Lhamo (Skt. Śrīdēvī; Tib. དཔལ་ལྡན་ལྷ་མོ་, Wyl. dpal ldan lha mo) is one of the main dharmapalas of Tibetan Buddhism and of Tibet. Palden Lhamo is one of the main principal female wisdom protectors of Himalayan and Tibetan Buddhism.

Within the Gelugpa, she is strongly associated with the Dalai Lama Incarnation Line and with the Panchen Lama Incarnation Line. Palden Lhamo is also related to the Lhamo Lhasto lake, in Dakpo. Over the years, many of the Dalai Lamas and their regents went to practise around this lake in order to receive visions and indications.

Remati is the name of the very wrathful form of Palden Lhamo.

On this day in Tibetan Calendar, tenth day of the eleventh month, the ox month, when Guru Padmasambhava assumed a wrathful crazy form at Paro Taktsang in Mon and other places, he sweared in all the earth lords of Tibet as guardians of the termas, over the whole of the land of snows on the borders and in the centre he concealed unimaginable terma troves of teachings, precious materials, sacred substances and so on, and he gave predictions and advice for safeguarding what will remain of the teachings by means of the termas, he is known as Guru Dorje Drolo.
