Maha guru padmasambhava

Transmission of Dzogchen:

 Guru Padmasambhava is said to have transmitted the teachings of Dzogchen to his closest disciples, including Yeshe Tsogyal and Vairotsana. These teachings were later hidden as terma (treasure teachings) to be revealed by tertöns (treasure revealers) in future generations.
