Today, December 1st, Sunday,2024 according to the Buddhist calendar, marks the day Arahant Maha Maudgalyāyana
attained pari nirvana.
Maha Maudgalyāyana had mastered a range of super normal psychic powers, which he utilized for the benefit of the Buddha's dispensation and the welfare of his disciples and pupils. Consequently, the Buddha formally declared him to be the foremost in psychic powers among all the Buddha's disciples.
