The best way to dedicate merit is to dedicate it to achieve enlightenment for all beings. When you do this, that merit becomes inexhaustible, unceasing. A very important point when you dedicate merit is to also dedicate it in the purest way,by“sealing it with emptiness.” By specifically concentrating on the meaning of “mere imputation,” the emptiness of all things from their own side, you make your dedication in a way that is pure and unstained by the concept of true existence...
